The ranking of streaming apps makes room for one more


The shows menu has been revamped a bit this month, as several contenders earn a spot and a new player enters the top 10 of the PYMNTS provider rankings for streaming apps.

With one tie making room for one more, the list grew this month. Now, let’s take a look at the top 10 and enjoy a bonus episode, as 11 contenders have earned a top spot this month.

The Top 5

Netflix is ​​still in the first place. This app has 158 million paid subscriptions and also ranks well in the PYMNTS ranking.

Close to second place, like last month, is YouTube.

There was a lineup change in the third ranking, however, with Amazon Prime Video leaping two places and landing at No.3.

However, it has to share that location, as Spotify has jumped one spot from last month and is now in third place as well.

Disney + passed them along the way as it descended one level to place fourth.

Rounding out the top tier of this elite group is Pluto TV – Live TV and Movies, which has moved up one spot from last month’s roster.

The Top 10

Hulu is also on the move, rising one level and now resting at # 6.

After the others on the way is Amazon Music. Like our two previous competitors, this music streaming platform has improved its position in the ranking by one unit since last month. He is now ranked seventh.

And it is not the only one. Twitch has also gained one spot since last time and now sits in eighth position.

The next in line among all the streaming apps to move up the rankings is Funimation. He’s also moved up one level from last month to No.9.
