Putting technology in the spotlight in the dairy industry. It happens on This Land of Ours.
The 2022 World Milk Fair is underway this week in Madison, Wisconsin. It attracts thousands of dairy farmers from across the country and around the world. Part of the event for the third consecutive year, the World Dairy Expo® Tech Spotlight allowed companies to shine a light on new ideas and innovations entering the global dairy industry. Tech startups and scale-ups have officially showcased their products and services to dairy farmers around the world, in person and virtually.
Among the companies participating in this year’s edition of the World Dairy Expo are exhibiting companies WDE Ever.Ag, Labby Inc., milc group, Nedap Livestock Management and smaXtec Inc. CattleEye, EIO Diagnostics and Milk Moovement also join the virtual component.
Each featured startup has digital technology for the dairy industry, such as robots, cameras or sensors, and addresses a specific need identified by producers, such as feeder management, cow behavior monitoring, cow health, milk quality, manure treatment or labor efficiency.
