Among us VR was revealed last December at The Game Awards. And now we know the game will feature many of the core elements that made the original so popular as it gained momentum over the past few years.
Among us VRwhich Innersloth, Schell Games and Robot Teddy developed from the ground up as a standalone 3D experience, players will still work together under the constant threat of betrayal as they complete tasks, this time with 360 gameplay degrees.

For gameplay, all the basics of Among us have been translated into the VR space, including tasks, sabotages, emergency meetings, and ventilation. Proximity voice chat and a quick chat were also implemented from the start.
The developers have even emphasized one-handed and two-handed locomotion modes, with nausea-reducing comfort options to ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy the game in a way that suits them best. better in the VR space.
Just like with the original, players will have access to a selection of customizable options, such as hats to give their teammate some extra style. Achievements will also be available and, at launch, Among us VR will be localized into eight languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (LATAM), Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
Players can wishlist Among us VR on Meta Quest and Steam, with more details about the game to be revealed at a later date ahead of its holiday 2022 launch.
