Netflix’s ‘Love, Death + Robots’ Features NFT Scavenger Hunt


The new season of Netflix Inc. NFLX ‘LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS’ (LDR) features a scavenger hunt for nine hidden QR codes.

What happened: The official LDR Twitter account tweeted “the hunt begins” as season 3 of the David Fincher-produced anime series for adults released on May 20.

The nine QR codes were scattered across the shows’ social media and in the episodes themselves. Users who find the hidden codes can scan them to create non-fungible tokens (NFTs) which will be displayed on their OpenSea accounts.

The option to create NFTs is only available to US-based users who will need to login to a MetaMask or Coinbase Global Inc. PIECE OF MONEY Purse and pay the gas fee required in Ethereum ETH/USD.

According to the official LDR NFT page on OpenSeathe floor price of the collection is around 0.002 ETH worth around $4 at current prices.

Since the show’s release on Netflix, the collection has seen around $30,000 in traded volume and has 25,000 unique owners.


Price action: According to data from BenzingaProETH was trading at $1,984, down 2% in the past 24 hours.
